Free Art II: Gardener's Seed Packet Wall Art

Here's a cool idea that I forgot to mention in my original Free Art post.  It's something I'm did in my new room, after I got done planting my wealth of flower seeds.  I had a bunch of empty seed packets with pretty pictures on them, and a bunch of empty wall.  Necessity being the mother of invention, I put the two together.  You can, too!

What you'll need:
Scissors
Glue or tape
Ruler
Posterboard
Seed packets
Enough grosgrain ribbon to form a border around said seed packets (grosgrain is sturdier than satin ribbon, and easier to sew or glue)
Hot glue gun OR needle, thread, and velcro dots

Arrange the seed packets into a square or a rectangle (I guess you could do a triangle or something, but it would be tricky).
Trim the posterboard so that the seed packets will cover it completely.  Then glue or tape the packets to the posterboard backing.
Like this, but with ribbon around it.
Measure the dimensions of the seed packet square.  Add one inch to each measurement, so that the ribbon has space to overlap.  Cut off four lengths of ribbon, one for each side.
Glue or sew velcro dots to the ends of each ribbon, forming a frame.
Stick that sucker on the wall!

Congrats, farmer.  You've just grown your very first organic art.
